🇦🇷 Argentina
Steak, wine, tango, and the end of the world.
Argentina is huge: from the red canyons of the north to the glaciers of Patagonia, it runs about 2,300 miles top to bottom. Most first trips start in Buenos Aires, a city of grand avenues, neighborhood cafés and very late dinners, then add one or two regions: Mendoza for wine, the Iguazú Falls, or Patagonia for lakes, mountains and ice.
Distances are long, so plan on flying between regions. People eat late, talk a lot, and take their beef, their wine and their football seriously. Bring patience for the paperwork, and an appetite.
